Purchase Ledger Clerk c.£25,000 + 33 Days Holiday

We are looking for an experienced person to work within a traditional Purchase Ledger role, ideally you will take pride in yourself and your work and be looking for a like minded company and team to join.

Reconciling supplier ledger balances to the suppliers statement and then making payments on a weekly or twice weekly payments runs. You will be a key member of the team where your roles will be varied but mainly Month end reports, cash posing, Bank transfers, Journals, Bacs runs, statements making and taking phone calls and running D&B reports. Sometimes if one of the other team are on holiday or absent everyone will chip in to help each other out which adds to the variety occasionally.

The vacancy would suit someone looking for a role where you will be well respected working in a very smart traditional office environment, within a company who believe in looking after their staff and in return receive loyalty and confidentiality. If you feel this could be you perhaps you are returning to work after having family or looking to work more within the single field of Purchase Ledger this could be the ideal role for you. Experience along with a good work ethic and attitude is much more important than qualifications. There is unlikely to be promotional prospects but will be a secure job for life for the right person offering a good package and a lovely working environment.

The benefits, up to c£25,000 negotiable salary depending on experience, 33 days holiday, Woking 9 to 5pm auto Penson enrolment after 3 months with 3% company 4% employee contributions.
